Redskins surprise Eagles, 17-12
The Washington Redskins continued their NFC East dominance so far this year with a 17-12 win over the Philadelphia Eagles.
It was a big day for the Redskins because it meant the return of quarterback Donovan McNabb to Philadelphia.
McNabb received a standing ovation from the Philly faithful as he was announced during player introductions.
The quarterback didn’t have his best day in the NFL, but he did break off a couple of key first down runs, especially late in the game.
The big play of the game occurred when two Redskins sandwiched a scrambling Michael Vick, knocking him out of the game.
